Concord Place Ministry



In cooperation with the Practical Ministry Department at Moody Bible Institute, we provide chapel services to these appreciative seniors at the Concord Place retirement home in nearby Northlake, who are unable to travel to church services outside their building. With the exception of holidays, semester breaks and summer vacation, a team of Moody students lead the service. On those Sundays when the students are away, we fill in.

The service is held from 10:30-11:30 am on Sunday mornings. A typical service starts with playing music on CDs as the seniors sing from their large print songbooks. There is a time of praise and prayer requests that follows – and then a lesson from the Bible.

Attendance ranges from 12 to 20 people, they love to hear live music, testimonies, devotionals – and they enjoy the presence of children.
